Sling Pack

I purchased the Duluth Pack Sling Pack to keep all of my equipment close by during building audits. I like the way the bag slides around to my chest so I can access the different items when I need them, without taking it off. The quality is great and compartments are just the right size.

I've been looking for the perfect sling bag for a while now and I found this by accident. I'm so happy I did. I have a 2 year old who is very active but doesn't require a full diaper bag. This bag is the perfect size. I can fit my wallet, keys, extra clothes, snacks and a water with room to spare. I that you can spin it to the front and the zipper is right there. Definitely worth it & the amazing customer service at Duluth Pack was a bonus (it's hard to find great costumer service these days). :)

I have had this bag for awhile now and have used it on a mission trip to South America and it made a perfect personal carry on bag flying and recently a trip in the Rocky Mountains and it was perfect for day hikes. The craftsmanship was evident and built to last with quality materials. Thanks Duluth Pack for keeping up a long tradition of building a quality canvas product and being innovative and creating new products.

The amount of stuff you can jam in this bag is alarming. It's unusual gourd shape doesn't appear to lend itself to being particularly packable, but this bag regularly carries my soft-shell jacket, laptop, notebook, water bottle, lunch, and Small Gear Stash (Also from Duluth Pack) with loads of room to spare. Great everyday bag. I often use it to pack for short weekend trips too; it'll eat up 2-3 days of clothes + toiletries, no problem. The side zipper running down the side of the bag is genius. Simply rotate the bag from your back to your front and the zipper is right in front of you. I can see fly fishers loving this pack just for its ease of access to its contents. I don't often use the outside cordage (on account of the main pocket being sufficiently large on its own), but the four d-rings that its laced through make great lashing points. It's unique aesthetic and superior functionality really make this one a winner.

Hands down my favorite sling Ive ever owned. Takes some getting used to and thoughtfulness packing it but stays light weight that way if you can take a minimalist approach. Extremely useful in any weather with proper care and seemingly indestructible. Mine has been in service with me near daily since 2018

The slingpack is perfect for river fishing. Plenty of room and the size makes it perfect to wear while casting.

This bag is perfect for a situation where compact is key. I can fit two sweatshirts in here, along with my phone, keys, wallet in the front zipper pocket. I also like the paracord on front to attach a carabiner or clip speaker too. Good for a few items, but not designed for lots of equipment

Everyone asks about this pack, because it is so unique and yet works so well. Wide and quick to access zipper system is the absolute best for easy access and repacking when going through the security check at airports. My favorite for travel.

For the price this item is no where near what it should be. First, the strap is made of cargo nylon some thing suitable for holding down freight cargo. I would not even use this type strap on a horse.\nIt will chaff against your neck or what ever it wears against. I am sure it has to do with cost in the design. They could of at least used some suitable to where around bare skin such as your neck and shoulder.\nI would like to send it back but it has been to long since purchase. In addition the the strap material the strap length is too short so if you with a coat or heavy clothing the bag is gonna be a tight fit around your neck and shoulder.\nThe canvas material it's self it not heavy enough weight for what what is's designed to be. Saggy and flimsy. To be honest this would be about a $30 item at a retail store with out the name brand.

The Duluth Sling Bag beats ALL others with the thick, material strap that comprises the top third of the strap. Starting at 4", it slims to 2 3/4" and is made of thick, heavyweight canvas to correctly distribute weight across your shoulder. This absolutely keeps the sling back from digging into your shoulders when loaded. Every other competitor's bag has a skinny strap that fails miserably in this regard. Check all others out. They do not offer this Duluth Exclusive feature. (Additionally, this sling bag is great for business travelers to quickly get through airport security as well because it provides, easy, wide mouth access to your keys, belt, pens, change, metallic objects, etc.)

I bought this bag for my father as he's an old adventurer. When he got this bag, I could feel how happy he was. Eventually, he said goodbye to his old bag, and started using this bag instead.

Well made and compact. Works well for concealed carry.
