Days and hours of operation may change slightly due to holidays, weather, and other circumstances. 

Though we pride ourselves in our proven track record of timely responsiveness, in the event our response is taking longer than usually please note our team is small, and the Northwoods are unpredictable so please be patient! We will happily get back to you as soon as possible. 

Every Duluth Pack manufactured product is handcrafted here in Minnesota. We pride ourselves on quality and craftsmanship. We never compromise our quality for quantity or speed. 

Our products are made one at a time, they are made specifically with you in mind.  

Every craftsperson hand signs the product that they make from start to finish showing our pride in our work. 

Due to this, our American Made manufactured items can be backordered when they are out of stock. 

This falls same for the additional selection of products we offer from other brands in-store and on our website. For our manufactured products, once a color and/or size is selected - if no quantity is available at the time of your purchase, a backordered and or sold-out button should appear. 

If an item you ordered is Backordered, you will also be notified via email from our friendly Customer Service staff.

Our inventory online may include products currently at our flagship retail store. Because of this, our website inventory information may occasionally be delayed or incorrect. 

To secure your place in line and minimize wait times, we encourage you to place your order by adding the backordered item to your cart and completing the checkout process as usual. Backorders are prioritized in the order in which they are received. 

For your convenience, you can purchase in-stock and backordered gear from DuluthPack.com in the same order. Your whole order will be held until all items are available to be shipped together. Please reach out to Customer Service to discuss your options for split shipping or place your order in multiple, separate orders accordingly. Their may be additional fees with any possible orders that are split shipped by customer's request.

Backorder timelines do change based on demand. Often times, backorder timelines increase around the Holidays. To avoid long backorder wait times and to make sure your items arrive before a certain date, please order early.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. We thank you for supporting the USA’s oldest canvas and leather bag and pack manufacturer and for supporting small business and American Manufacturing. 

Backorder timeframe varies and will be communicated to you. The timeframe includes production handcrafting, quality control, and packing and shipping time. 

Communicated backorder timelines measure the time until the order is shipped

Once an item is shipped, you will be provided a tracking number. At this point, the shipping carrier will be responsible for providing you a timeline for delivery though we are happy to assist in that communication!

We typically process and ship orders from our Duluth, Minnesota distribution center Monday through Friday. 

Orders placed on weekends and holidays will not be processed until the following business day. 

We ship all orders as fast as we can. In stock orders typically ship within 5 business days though they may ship as early as the day they are placed.

Shipping timelines are the responsibility of the carrier once the item leaves our facility, though we are happy to help estimate timelines! 

Mainland USA orders shipped via UPS or FedEx typically take no more than 6 business days to arrive. USPS orders may take as long as 14 days. 

International orders or those shipping to AK or HI may take as many as 24 days to arrive from the shipping date. 

When your order ships you should receive an email from us containing a tracking number. Please check your Junk/Spam folder and then reach out to Customer Service if you believe this email didn't arrive. 

Our Carriers update their tracking information automatically, so keep your eyes peeled on the tracking link provided for most up to date information. 

Expeditated shipping methods may be available for purchase at checkouts. Again, all ship times & estimated arrival dates are determined by the carrier (UPS does not count Saturday or Sunday in their "2-Day" shipping)

Customers encouraged to contact customer service with questions. 

Expedited shipping methods do not decrease the time for the item to be produced and only apply to the time spent from shipping to delivery. Should you order with an expedited shipping method, your order will be shipped via that method when your item is ready. 

Estimated shipping timeliness are subject to change via the carrier and do not apply to fulfilment of backordered, out of stock, or made to order items. Other exclusions may apply. 

In-Store Pick Up may be available as an option in the checkout process! 

Please recall that we have one Store location (365 Canal Park Drive, Duluth, Minnesota 55802). 

You will receive an email when your order is ready for pick up. Pick up orders will not be ready for pick up unless this email is recieved.

In store pick-up orders that have not been picked up in 1 year from availability will be forfeit unless specified otherwise from customer service. 

International orders can be shipped from Duluth Pack via select shipping providers. 

Orders shipped via USPS are delivered in cooperation with the destination country's parcel service. 

Any applicable taxes, duties, and fees charged by the destination country or the carrier that are due upon pick-up or delivery are the responsibility of the recipient and not of Duluth Pack. 

Shipments to freight forwarding locations are strictly prohibited. 

Start by checking your tracking link to confirm the package was delivered. The provider may also provide an image of where the package was delivered.

Next, we recommend asking others that live with you or your neighbors if they have seen your package. A lot of times, lost packages end up in the hands of a neighbor or by a spouse or roommate. 

If you’re unable to track your package down, we recommend calling the Shipping Provider to confirm it's delivery. Shipping provider can be distinguished via the tracking number. 

Once an order leaves the Duluth Pack facility, its delivery is the responsibility of the Shipping Carrier. 

Please check your tracking information often to ensure you will be present and able to bring the package inside at time of delivery. 

If you are unable to be present at time of delivery, we recommend asking a friend to neighbor to keep an eye out for your package to avoid the possibility of package theft. 

Should all else fail and your package still ends up missing, Duluth Pack Customer Service is happy to help get a claim filed with the shipping provider! 

Return Policy: Returns must be within 30 days of purchase for a refund. After 30 days, your order may still be returned at the discretion of Duluth Pack in exchange for store credit. 

Duluth Pack 2nds, clearance items, Final Sale items, used merchandise, and consignment items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.  

Items purchased with an E-Gift Card can only be returned for store credit.

To request a return, please fill out the return form on this page. 

Once submitted, we will review your return. If approved, you will automatically receive a shipping label in your email. 

Please print the label, add it to your box and drop the package off at your nearest shipping location. 

Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect it for damage and if all looks well, we will process your refund (some returns may be subject to a $20 restocking fee to be deducted from refund). Please allow us 3-5 business days for us to process your return.

Merchandise must be new and unused with all tags attached. 

Receipts or Gift Receipts are required for all returns/exchanges. 

Transactions using a credit card will only be processed if the owner of the credit card (name on card) is present.

Items purchased with a Gift Card can only be returned for store credit.

To Initiate Your Duluth Pack Retail Store Return:  

  • Gather your eligible item(s) with their original tags and/or packaging and your receipt. Bring to our Retail Store at: 365 Canal Park Drive Duluth, MN 55802  
  • Find an associate and we'd be happy to assist you! 

We are not Duluth Trading to avoid confusion, we make this information known on multiple places as bold as possible on the E-Gift Card product page. 

Gift Cards or E-Gift Cards Cannot Be Returned, Cancelled, Or Refunded At Duluth Pack. 

Unfortunately, Gift Cards are a common tool used by fraudsters, thus most retailers do not accept returns or cancellations on them.

Due to the high volume of Gift Card fraud, there are no exceptions to this policy.
