About Our Lifetime Guarantee & Repairs
Duluth Pack's Lifetime Guarantee covers manufacturing defects, hardware (including zippers, buckles, snaps, rivets, d-rings, etc) malfunction or failure, stitching that has come out along a seam or fraying that opens a seam.
Duluth Pack will repair or replace at our discretion any product found to be defective within the scope of normal and appropriate product use within the lifespan of the product.
If the manufacturing defect is repairable, we will repair the product free of charge.
Things that are not covered by the Duluth Pack Lifetime Guarantee Include (but are not limited to): normal wear and tear (including holes, rips, and tears caused by regular use), damage caused from outside the normal scope of use, rips, tears, fading, dye discoloration, failure of or caused by unauthorized repairs or alterations made by you or a third party.
Duluth Pack may be able to repair non-warrantied Duluth Pack items for a fee as determined by the Duluth Pack Repairs Specialist.
The "Lifetime" Refers to the lifetime of the item! Don't worry, your warranty won't void when the original purchaser passes away!
Our bags are built to be passed down generations.
Every year we get bags back for repair that have been passed down as heirlooms. Some of these bags that come in date back to the 1800s!
We are a small team and our Repairs Specialist is only one person. Please be patient as repairs are made. Repair wait times are subject to change from what is quoted below, please check back for updates.
Currently, repairs will take 2-4 weeks to be reviewed once received. After repair is confirmed & payment (if necessary) is received, please allow 4-8 weeks for the repair to be made.
If the defect is not repairable, Duluth Pack will retain possession of the unrepairable product and replace it with a like product or store credit of equal value. The decision of whether to repair or replace a product is solely up to the discretion of Duluth Pack’s Repairs Specialist. You may elect to decline repair or replacement and have the bag returned to you at any time.

Hello! I am Tracie, your friendly repair specialist. I have been an employee with Duluth Pack for 18 years. Sewing has been a part of my life since I was a little girl, some 60+ years ago. I started in the Production Department for 7 years and then moved into repairs in August of 2015. Who knew that I would love ripping things apart and putting them back together. Not me! I found my calling in the Repair Department.
Every pack, purse, or bag that crosses my path will get the best care I can give it. I take pride in the work I do to make your injured item usable again, but I am only one person. Please be patient with me. I will work with every customer to make their experience with the Duluth Pack repairs department a happy one. Your bag won’t be brand new when I finish with it. It may have patches sewn on or new leather pieces or new hardware, or maybe it is only a seam sewn up again, but whatever is needed, will be done with love and pride. Thank you to you all for supporting this American Made company and all the people it employs.
