Sling Pack

The amount of stuff you can jam in this bag is alarming. It's unusual gourd shape doesn't appear to lend itself to being particularly packable, but this bag regularly carries my soft-shell jacket, laptop, notebook, water bottle, lunch, and Small Gear Stash (Also from Duluth Pack) with loads of room to spare. Great everyday bag. I often use it to pack for short weekend trips too; it'll eat up 2-3 days of clothes + toiletries, no problem. The side zipper running down the side of the bag is genius. Simply rotate the bag from your back to your front and the zipper is right in front of you. I can see fly fishers loving this pack just for its ease of access to its contents. I don't often use the outside cordage (on account of the main pocket being sufficiently large on its own), but the four d-rings that its laced through make great lashing points. It's unique aesthetic and superior functionality really make this one a winner.

I have had this bag for awhile now and have used it on a mission trip to South America and it made a perfect personal carry on bag flying and recently a trip in the Rocky Mountains and it was perfect for day hikes. The craftsmanship was evident and built to last with quality materials. I've been looking for the perfect sling bag for a while now and I found this by accident. I'm so happy I did. I have a 2 year old who is very active but doesn't require a full diaper bag. This bag is the perfect size. I can fit my wallet, keys, extra clothes, snacks and a water with room to spare. I that you can spin it to the front and the zipper is right there. Definitely worth it & the amazing customer service at Duluth Pack was a bonus (it's hard to find great costumer service these days). :)

I purchased the Duluth Pack Sling Pack to keep all of my equipment close by during building audits. I like the way the bag slides around to my chest so I can access the different items when I need them, without taking it off. The quality is great and compartments are just the right size.

Hands down my favorite sling Ive ever owned. Takes some getting used to and thoughtfulness packing it but stays light weight that way if you can take a minimalist approach. Extremely useful in any weather with proper care and seemingly indestructible. Mine has been in service with me near daily since 2018
