Product Review

I bought this backpack about ten years ago, and it is still like new though it has been thrown into the backseat many many weekends and carried on the airplane lots of times over the years. It holds a long weekend worth of clothing easily. The stitching has never broken in any place. It will last me the rest of my lifetime for sure.

The bag is okay. I can see that the ends if the leather are not burnished. And you can this especially on the leather straps that go on your shoulders. The leather fibers are fraying off because it, and the staps tend to dry faster. Throughout of the whole bag the ends are not burnished. The leather ounce is pretty thin but is usable for school or everyday use. But I doubt it could take anymore then that. I ordered this bag because my previous one was stolen, and that one was gift from a dear friend. However, I had that one for 6 years and ordered the same model for nostalgia. But I can see they did cut some corners for this 2021 version. I think they could add a padded laptop divider to help update the bag. The main compartment is just one void. So transporting my laptop in this bags means I need to have a laptop sleeve. For a near 600 bag I do not think I should have to do that. I am not the most experienced leather worker but anyone who works with leather can see that this bag is needs a little more work to be worth it.
