Computer Briefcase - Retiring Soon

I needed a computer bag that had room, would last forever, and looked great. This is a bigger task than I had originally known. This bag was the answer. First of all, the bag is bigger than it looks. Even when my computer is in the bag, there is plenty of room for books, charger, etc. The materials are top-notch. I elected to go with the waxed canvas which I highly recommend. I do not intend to ever replace this bag. The waxed canvas adds that extra layer of protection against moisture and abrasion. The leather on the bag is high quality and looks amazing. The most wear the bag gets is obviously on the bottom which is all reinforced with leather which should increase the usable life. The organization inside the bag is great as well. Three medium-sized pockets, two smaller pen/pencil pockets, and a quick-release clip that I use for my flash drives. The computer pouch is padded on the side and it wraps around underneath to protect then computer when the bag is set down. It isnt overdone but Ive never worried about my computer carrying the bag. The shoulder strap is beefy cotton web that is a full 2 inches wide. This is so appreciated as it distributes the weight of the bag over a larger surface area increasing comfort. One of my favorite aspects of the bag is that the rolled leather handles always stay standing up. They dont flop down onto either side of the bag. This way, the bag is so easy to grab when getting out of the car or heading for the door. Overall, the bag is worth the money. It looks awesome- not flashy or garish as all-leather bags can sometimes be. Its professional without being corporate and stands out a bit without screaming. Got this as a gift over 10 years ago. It has been used day in and day out since. It has aged like a good whiskey and fully expect it to last another 20+ years.
