What does backordered mean?

Every Duluth Pack manufactured canvas, leather, or wool product is handcrafted by our employees, in our building. We pride ourselves on handcrafting the best American Made outdoor gear, packs, bags, duffels, and shooting sports equipment. We never compromise our quality for quantity, therefore, we do not have line-work in our production process. Our products are made one at a time, they are made specifically with you in mind. 

Every craftsperson hand signs the product that they make from start to finish. This is true pride in your work. 

Due to this, our American Made manufactured items can be backordered when they are out of stock. This falls same for the additional selection of products we offer from other brands in-store and on our website. For our manufactured products, once a color and/or size is selected - if no quantity is available at the time of your purchase, a backordered and or sold-out button will appear.Our inventory online includes products currently at our flagship retail store. Because of this, our website inventory information may occasionally be delayed.  You may still place your order by adding the backordered item to your cart and completing the checkout process as usual. In addition, a Duluth Pack email notifying you about your backordered item will be sent to your corresponding email address.

For your convenience, you can purchase in-stock and backordered gear from DuluthPack.com in the same order. Our inventory online includes products currently at our flagship retail store. Because of this, our website inventory information may occasionally be delayed. How long will it take to receive my backordered item?

The current and updated backorder timeframe will be stated on the product’s page once a color and or size is selected. The timeframe includes production handcrafting, quality control, and packing and shipping time. Due to COVID delays and irregular shipping times, we are unable to project how long an order may take to arrive.
