The Cruiser was engineered for foresters working in the rain-soaked Pacific Northwest. Originally offered as a pullover shirt as well as a button-front jacket, the Cruiser is still one of the most imitated jackets on the market. It's versatile utility has made the Cruiser a favorite of anyone who thrives outdoors, and has been in use by U.S. Forest Service personnel since the 1940s. Four front pockets and a full-width back pocket create two layers of warm wool over most of the torso. All are protected by snapped flaps.
Mackinaw Wool is tightly woven with yarns spun from the longest and strongest fleece fibers. It’s density helps it block the wind while remaining highly breathable. It also provides the durability to last a lifetime. Mackinaw Wool goods are often handed to the next generation.
