Full Description
Although it looks simple, we’ve put handy pockets throughout this bag to store those items you need while wandering. The main compartment is big enough for binoculars and a small field guide and has a generously sized zippered pocket. Under the top flap on the Haversack’s front is another full-length open pocket faced with flat pockets ideal for pens, a small note pad, or calculator. We even included pockets on the outside ends that would easily fit a small cell phone or iPod®. 18-ounce canvas throughout, the Haversack has leather trim and piping, and a leather flap strap with brass roller buckle. An adjustable leather shoulder strap insures carrying comfort while you wander the woods or sidewalks. Made in USA.

While your Duluth Pack item is designed to provide you with many years of use, Duluth Pack is not responsible for common wear and tear or misuse of your product and is therefore not covered by our warranty. Of course, damages not covered under warranty can usually be repaired at a minimal cost. I have had this bag for 10 + years and still love it. I use it daily. It's been to both Mexico and Costa Rica with me. Easy to travel with as it holds more than you think and keeps me organized. Treating myself to another as mine is just showing some wear and tear. Thank you for you quality craftsmanship. Worth every penny!

I would recoomend the haversack to anyone. I have ms and a service dog to help. The haversack has taken everything both of us have thrown at it and still looks good after 5 years. I have decided to down size to the mini and as my original is still in good shape I am going to give it some love with Frebreeze and donate it to the local battered womens shelter to share with someone else who will enjoy it as much as me. I purchased full sized haversack several years ago..... and also purchased one for my daughter. The sack has so many organizational areas that it is just the best to use and it looks as good as the day I received it. I am going to purchase another for a gift.

I was lucky enough to get this bag in 2003 as the conference bag for the Society for Comparative Biology. I have carried it every day since and use it as my purse/everyday bag. Many other conference bags get used for trips to the post office, grocery trips or packed for travel but this bag is never empty. What a shock today to see how expensive it would be to replace. I guess I will just repair it. After nine years of rough abuse, there are holes in the bottom corners and at the top corners along the flap fold. The seams are all still intact. I don't keep anything in the body small enough to fall out so I still use it as is. There are plenty of pockets to secure small stuff. It will easily be repaired with a bit of patching. At less than a dollar a month so far I would heartily recommend this bag.

I bought this bag in waxed canvas as a companion for my Scoutpack backpack. I have Coach, D&B and Ralph Lauren bags and I have to say this little bag has become my go to everyday bag. My husband and kids can't believe that I've ditched my high-end bags for this little wonder. It holds everything I need for everyday errands and it's absolutely fabulous for travel. On a recent trip I packed it with my IPad, nikon digital camera, small cosmetic case, glasses (in the side pocket), pens, wallet and travel journal. Sounds like a lot but everything fit! Greatest bag ever! And made in the USA makes it that much more special! PS - one suggestion to make this bag even better...a zip pocket on the top flap for passport, keys etc.
