Filson Mackinaw Cruiser
Product Review (submitted on September 19, 2012):
The best for cold weather hunting. As far as the other review calling this dated, well that obviously is a comment from a person with no outdoor experience. Wool like this is warm when soaked wet, it doesn't smell and is as quiet as you can get for hunting. New materials may be lighter, but not warmer, quieter, and don't smell when worn on a long hunt. And it looks good. You can hunt then use it for going out with the ol lady. I have every kind of the new clothing and I thought they would be better, but wool is my go to for warmth and reliability. The others don't hold up as long, they tear to easy and you cant fix them as good. And they are so damn loud while hunting. Filson wool is good stuff. And they stand behind their products like Duth does. They are a 100 year old company too, must be doing something right.
