Rambler - Backpack
Product Review (submitted on June 19, 2008):
I mainly use my Rambler to pack extra clothes when heading to my hunting spot in order to avoid overheating. It is big enough to hold my wool jacket as well as the other items that accompany me, like a seat pad, extra gloves, reading material, thermos of coffee, and a bite to eat.
It was nice to be able to find a pack that was put together with quality as a primary concern - not cost. Thick leather straps and copper riveting much the same as my old canvas pack that I had to finally retire after 35 years.
It gets a 4 from me because buckles and straps are fiddly to deal with when you have gloves on. That's just a fact of that type of closure, though and I wouldn't change a thing about this pack.
