My husband and I use these packs to walk to the Farmers Market in Chicago. We walk 4 miles round trip in the city with them to the Farmer's Market twice a week and they are PERFECT for transporting food. I also use them to go grocery shopping in the city in the winter (or any time I don't want to get the car out -- which is a lot -- we live in a congested area). They're great for urban living. I've given two as gifts and people are always asking us about them.
