Reminds me of my BSA Yuca Back Pack I used from Philmont to National Jamboree in the 60's. Lots of places to put water bottles. Maybe add an interior zip pocket to put smaller items. (Posted on 8/4/2010)

Bought on last year and I have used it for winter camping as well as canoe trips into BWCA. The nylon straps does not bother me at all. Would recommend to a friend (Posted on 7/12/2010)

This pack looks fantastic, but I will hold off on buying it until it's redesigned with leather instead of nylon. (Posted on 7/4/2010)

I considered purchasing this pack too, but I agree with debiant. Replace the nylon with leather, and I'll buy it. (Posted on 4/22/2010)

Excellent pack, had mine two months, and been everywhere with me. Only thing to make it perfect to me if the two pockets were wide enough to take a NATO waterbottle and metal mug. That owuld have been spot on! (Posted on 4/3/2010)
    I don't own this pack...Review by debiant

As my Summary states I don't own this pack, but was hoping that I could help a little with a possible modification to it. The pack is beautiful with one MAJOR exception. There is nylon webbing on this pack. I think most people that purchase Duluth packs (and certainly the major reason I've considered purchasing a Duluth pack) want the timelessness and natural look and feel provided by Leather, Cotton, and metal. I would love to see this pack redesigned for next year with a leather hipbelt and compression straps. I could definitely see myself purchasing this pack with such modifications.
