Full Description

Imagine room for your food with space left over for a cook kit, stove, fuel bottle, and even a special place for utensils. This pack is your kitchen in the woods. We started with a Standard Food Pack and added large pockets and a detachable, multi-pocketed, elasticized storage area for utensils. Comes complete with its own snap-closing protective cover. The top flap has a zippered pocket for items you want handy yet secured. You will only need to hang one pack to thwart marauding bears because all of your food is stored in one convenient place. The Camp Kitchen canoe pack is built with the same materials and heavy-duty reinforcement as our Standard Food Pack. Includes tumpline and high quality replaceable poly liner. Made in USA.

Quality Kitchen Pack

I have an earlier version that has the utensil roll built in (not removable) and it has served me well for many years in the BWCAW. The side pocket are the perfect size for small rectangular (14" x 12.5" x 5.5") dish pans, Rubbermaid 2951 20 I was lucky to find them in black years ago. I usually fill the pans with fuel bottles, ropes, stoves and other gear I don't want to carry with the food. The main compartment I fit with a cardboard box in the liner and put a soft side cooler in the bottom. The box helps to keep the pack up-rite and open when searching it's contents, and no more crushed bread.
In the 20 + years I've owned it, only the tumpline has broken (easily repaired).

Beautiful, but a little big!

This pack is awesome in all aspects, from construction to utility to organization. My only complaint is that it's a bit too big! With each trip, we've managed to pare down the kitchen to the basic essentials, and now we've "undergrown" this pack! Even with a group of 9, it's just a bit big. I'd love to see a smaller version with the same layout and features. Also, as this is often an "equipment pack", they might consider a sleeve pocket along the back to stuff a foam pad or something to pad your back against skillets, stoves, dishpans, etc.

As with the Monarch pack, this bag delivers in every aspect of it's intended purpose. What a treat going to one bag for everything involved with meals. Great job.

I have had this canoe pack since the mid 90's it has been on canoe and backpack trips every year. She has never let us down and I was so very pleased with the repairs made by Duluth to the holes from our rough treatment, it is ready for another 100 k

I use the camp kitchen pack on extended wilderness canoe trips. It keeps all of my cooking utensils and food together in one convenient spot. The pack is extremely well made and has withstood heavy use.
