Great Bag! .....Better than expected.

My 1st thought looking at the bag online was "wow", expensive! After I got the bag I thought "wow", well worth the price. Several small and large pockets make for good organization. Good access to main compartment. Great work, day, or overnight pack. Quality throughout. Only caution would be the black bag I got looks sharp, but it's harder to see contents with the dark interior of the pack.....so pack a flashlight.

I was wrong with my last review

I checked to see if my review was printed. It was. Then I saw a photo of the pack from the video, and the straps were plenty long. I checked the bag again and I found that I was tightening the straps the wrong way. I'm sorry for the inaccurate review, bit from it I learned that I CAN use the bag. thank you

Straps are too short
  • Rating

the pack was fine when it was empty. I bought it to be a pack when I traveled amtrak or Greyhound. I was all packed, my suitcase, my Klein tool bag, and my Lumberjack pack. With the help of a friend I got the pack on my back, but that was the last time on the trip. I am sorry to say the pack is useless to me, since the straps are too short. I cannot put my arm through the second strap without help.

Great Child Bag!

We have had our Lumber Jack for over 5 years now and it looks just a good as when we got it. We use it as a "baby" bag and it works great. I love that the back zips all the way open making it easy to find what you need. You can fit plenty of stuff for all the family. It is great for daily use or for vacations and can also be use for day trips. The one minor issue is that on the outside pouch sometimes the straps don't hold the flap down far enough and items can be exposed. We have never lost anything, but the flap could come down further. I love the look of the straps though. Overall great bag for a lot of purposes, I would get it again for sure.

Best daypack to have.

I picked this up with the side pockets, they will hold a Nalgene bottle. I use this for my day pack when I'm in the Boundary Waters. It has lots of dividers to hold everything perfect. Maps, guides, bug spray, matches, camera, etc. It's the best bag I've found so far to use for this purpose. Around town I fill it to go fishing with gear and food. Put two bottles in the pockets and I'm good to go. I find a pack works better when your fishing off the banks, you have all your gear with you and it's easy to carry.
