Good Product

I got the waxed canvas variant. It is sturdy and really well made. The fabric doesn't rub your skin raw as the wax acts like a lubricant.
The only thing I noticed is that the one I got seems to be made upside down. The leather roll straps and the "pillow pocket" are on the same side. The video shows that the straps are underneath the hammock when set up with the "pillow pocket" on the sleeping surface. I have to flip the hammock over (sleeping surface on the ground) to roll it up, or forgo the "pillow pocket" as a pillow. Either way, I can make it into an advantage.
Otherwise, awesome product....I ordered 3 more. I will chalk mine up to handcrafted variations. Although not a real deficiency I have to subtract one star for manufacturing inconsistency. People expect the product they order to be what they see in the advertisements/video/demonstrations.

ok I ordered mine at the pathfinder gathering and after reciveing it, I have set it up and used it in various configurations. there is a slight learning curve on the best/fastest way to set it up. once mastered it is one heck of a sleep system. the canvas is heavy duty enough to take a pounding but still remain light enough to pack. the quality of craftmanship that went into it shows. this has become my go to portion of my sleep system the only thing bad I can say is this. it might be too comfortable, you may not want to climp out of it the next morning1

An excellent multi-functional hammock replacement

The cot is a little awkward to set up, but will provide a very comfortable bed. The canvas is strong enough to handle canine claws, which would tear through a normal hammock.Works great with a sheep skin and a wool blanket.
