With a little birch bark, in rainy and windy weather this fire starter makes starting a fire easier than a match.

works well takes some skill to shoot sparks at magnesium flakes

tried this instore and it worked amazingly well. simple to use and effective. will take some practice to get spark from steel to land on magnesium flakes. magnesium will be gone b4 the steel train yourself to use long even strokes on the magnesium to avoid creating a divot.
