Our Standard, Deluxe, Serengeti and Laptop designs are available in a variety of sizes, colors, and materials to match whatever your lifestyle may be. The zippers we use in our bags, designed and built by YKK®, are the absolute best and are designed to excel in outdoor environments where mud, sand, and rain can play havoc on moving parts. The ample front pocket in the medium and large sizes feature slip pockets for pens/pencils, a calculator, cell phone, or iPod®. We recommend the small for elementary kids, medium for middle school, and large for high school and college students. Made in USA.

Our factory, where we have been building our products since 1911, is home to an extremely talented group of sewers, riveters, and leather craftspeople. Each piece of Duluth Pack gear is painstakingly built by hand with the attention and detail that only a true artisan can provide. We stand behind our work and are proud to offer a lifetime warranty covering all craftsmanship and hardware we use in the construction of our products. Craftsmanship includes our sewing and riveting. Hardware includes all zippers, buckles, D-rings, snaps, and any other parts utilized in the manufacturing of our bags. If at anytime during the life of your Duluth Pack product you have problems in these areas, return the product and it will be repaired free of charge. If the product cannot be repaired due to a defect in craftsmanship or faulty hardware, we will be happy to replace the item at Duluth Pack’s discretion. While your Duluth Pack item is designed to provide you with many years of use, Duluth Pack is not responsible for common wear and tear or misuse of your product and is therefore not covered by our warranty. Of course, damages not covered under warranty can usually be repaired at a minimal cost.     We were tired of buying new backpacks for our kids...there were always broken zippers, not big enough packs and just wearing out all the time. We took the kids to Duluth Pack and let them pick their colors and they have had them ever since. Actually we had to get a larger one as our daughter hit high school. It's off to college with her in the fall! Thanks for a great product!

    Last backpack I'll ever need

    This is by far the best backpack I've ever owned, or even seen. It's stylish enough to take around campus - I get compliments on it all the time - yet I know that if I ever need to hit the great outdoors it won't even break a sweat. My only regret is that I didn't find out about Duluth Pack years ago.

    I've had this backpack for 12 years and have been very pleased. The design allows it to hold an incredible amount of weight. I did have to get the bottom replaced after about 10 years of heavy use, but it was inexpensive and my bag now looks like new.

    Strap and Zipper Issues

    Received as gift, material and construction good but we were disappointed straps not padded and also that the zippers are not covered for rain resistance. Would not recommend for regular workplace trip...or anything other than occasional school use.
