The blade is created using high pressure compression - making it stronger and lighter than other blades. The shaft features t-700 carbon, making this performance paddle ultra strong with a low swing weight. Blades available in 3 colors!
The Surge blades have a foam core to add buoyancy, increasing performance and assisting with rolling and bracing. The dihedral blade shape reduces the energy required to pull the paddle through water and eliminates flutter. The Surge blades are precision balanced to reduce torque and wrist fatigue.
The Surge offers a large blade for high-angle, high-energy paddlers and both the Push Button Takedown and Telescoping Ferrule shaft options, creating a better fit and reducing paddler fatigue. The Telescoping Ferrule won’t seize up in sand or salt water.
This product features the Aqua-Bound T-700 carbon shaft. This material is highly regarded for its high strength to weight ratio. In fact, when it's not being used in the water with an Aqua-Bound paddle, it's being used in the air with some of the world's most famous jet aircraft. These paddles are available in standard and small shaft diameters. The small shaft diameter is 3/16" less in circumference and is recommended for anyone who's glove size is less than or equal to a men's small.
