Still affectionately known as the “Himalaya Stove”, the Optimus Hiker+ has been a classic for over 70 years. Built with the award-winning Nova burner and featuring a tough outer steel casing, this stove is designed to survive whatever Mother Nature can dish out.

excellent little stove

I bought an earlier version of this stove. It was called the 8R in 1972. It didn't have the built in pump of the present model. It has given years of dependable service and is still going strong. The paint on the steel case is a little scratched up. I bought it because it was self contained.
