Product Description

An ideal utility knife with a 2.875" blade, the Mt. Rainier is large enough to undertake serious cutting tasks.

  • Integrated into the design is the patented LAWKS® safety, which effectively converts your folder into a virtual fixed blade when the lever is slid forward— very reassuring when you are using your knife for difficult and tiring tasks.
  • The high-carbon, 420J2 stainless steel blades feature a rugged modified drop point shape and bead-blast finish.
  • Double-grooved ambidextrous thumb studs allow you to comfortably open or close the blade with a single, smooth, one-handed motion.
  • Teflon® bearings at the blade pivot guarantee continued smoothness.
  • The convenient stainless steel clothing/gear clip is Teflon plated and easily removable, attached with three Torx fasteners.
  • Weight is reduced without compromising the exceptional strength.
  • Handles are designed with an extended guard, generous size and bead-blast finish to give you extra gripping power.

mt. ranier combo not good enough
  • Rating

Sorry folx, but i can't give this knife a good review because of two things: 1) the clip is loose because two out of three
hex head screws have worked
themselves loose...
2) the knurled nut that allows the blade to fold is gone, simply fell or broke off. I do not abuse knives, and haven't had the knife for more than 6 months and the "knob" is gone. Poor design or build quality, the nuts are all falling out and the knob is gone. I guess I'll epoxy the clip on and maybe fashion a knob from JB Weld...decent blade, comparable to Gerber EZ Out.
