The Back Paxe combines a full sized forged steel hatchet head molded into an unbreakable handle. The forged steel head is tempered to take and hold a superior edge. The handle is made of Polyamide™, a virtually unbreakable fiberglass reinforced polymer.

Ive had one of these for many years now and found I get a better chop with my bk2. The handle is just a little to short to be useful. The edge was VERY sharp on mine though and the thing has taken being thrown around a bit and basically just mistreated.
