    Same Ruged Duribility
    • Rating

Ordered this several years ago with my #4 Monarch and had Duluth Pack install the attachment kit. Everything about the front pack and attach kit is just as rugged as the pack. Have used this on 6 BWCA trips and no complaints. Makes a great "glovebox" for the items I use on the water and or need in a hurry like water filter, rain gear, camera, binoculars, snacks, etc. When attached, it kinda balances your load, but limits your visibility for stepping on the path. If I am on a nice flat portage, it's OK, but if the path is very rough I'll disconnect it from the straps and sling it over my shoulder so it rests on top of my pack or carry it with the handle provided. That works out OK.
