If you're family camping, on an extended trip, or have set up a base camp, this hanging water filter is a must-have. Just fill it and hang it, gravity does the rest. The Base Camp removes bacteria, Giardia, and Cryptosporidium to EPA standards. Not impressed with this system

We bought one three years ago and can not get any flow from it. We have tried putting in new filters and after about a gallon it slows to a drip. We have used it excluisvely in the BWCA and the water there is not that dirty to begin with

Great filter

I'll never pump a filter again. This filter is great. Simply fill, hang and filter. Doesn't get any easier.

You talk about an awesome filtering system, this is it! I have the MSR miniworks and it's not miniwork to pump and filter water with. But, this bag is too easy. What I did for easy setup is this. Take a rope and pulley and hang it from a tree. Purchase a MSR dromobag and put a small carabiner on each end. Tie a rope around a tree with a 3" ring on it. Clip the dromobag to the ring and fill your bag with the filtered water. When full, put the spigot cap back on and unclip it, turn it upside down with the spigot downward and clip it back onto the ring. The easiest setup ever. I even had the filter hanging over the water from a tree and just lowered it down with the pulley, filled it up and ran it back up and tied it off. This is a worry free no hassle filter.
