I purchased this knife about 2 years ago to use in the woods. It represents a shift. I have carried one brand of hunting knife since I was 13 years old. I am now 49. The blade takes and holds an edge, can be used for tough work, without losing an edge, like splitting wood, (beating on the back side with another stick) and opening cans in an emergency and the ege is touched up in a few moments. The handle was my main concern, would it hold up? And so far, it has just fine. I expect that this will last the rest of my life and be passed to my son, or his.
